The Joyride truck is a Japanese mini-truck called a Diahatsu Hijet that we bought as a flatbed. Katie’s husband Jeremy built the bookshelves on the back for us. We’ve tooling around San Diego in this very whimsical looking truck, setting up at parks and farmers markets- we can fit into lots of different places while always ensuring first and foremost that the kids playing around the truck and looking at the books stay safe.
